At Britax Römer we are dedicated to your child’s safety. That’s why we were involved in the first legislation for the requirement of child car seats, ECE R44, and developed the first ISOFIX car seat to make installation easy and intuitive. Since all new cars are now equipped with ISOFIX anchorage points, ISOFIX has now been integrated into the new regulation ECE R129 (i-Size).

5-point harness

At Britax Römer we believe that a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of an impact, the harness distributes the force of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact.
